Jess is a Primetime Emmy Award-winning creator, whose passions include: gardens of all kinds, trees, photography, art & design, stories, Buddhism, spirituality, and immersion into timeless places that capture the imagination. Using curiosity as her compass, she believes in harmony and tries to find balance between nature, art and spirituality. Her favorite fruit is lemons.

She began her career at Pixar, immersed in the artistry and magic of the acclaimed Academy-Award winning animation studio. A natural-born storyteller, her curiosity brought her to Facebook’s in-house, virtual reality lab, where she helped pioneer the future of immersive narratives at Oculus Story Studio. She now serves as Creative Director and one of the founding members of Fable.

Her project, Wolves in the Walls, a VR film adaption of Neil Gaiman's renowned work, has premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival and Tribeca Film Festival.

She has been featured in Forbes, Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Tech Crunch and Wired.  

In 2019, her work was recognized by The Television Academy and earned her a Primetime Emmy for 'Outstanding Innovation in Interactive Media'. This distinguished award honors exceptional distinctiveness, inventiveness and relevance in expanding and redefining the conventions of interactive media.

In 2023, her work garnered the highly coveted Peabody Award, a prestigious accolade reserved for projects that embody stories of utmost importance. This rare award is bestowed upon only 35 select projects each year.
